Event review: Taste of Tradition – An Exclusive Wine Tasting Experience

The German Centre Shanghai recently had the pleasure of hosting “Taste of Tradition: An Exclusive Wine Tasting Experience” in collaboration with David Kempf from Wine529, Schindhelm and JPcontagi which brought together 70 participants from the international business community for a delightful evening of wine appreciation.

The event, held on Friday, March 22 featured Princess Dr. Stephanie von Löwenstein, guardian of a family-owned wine estate with a rich history dating back to 1611. Princess Löwenstein provided exclusive insights into the world of wine traditions and sustainable vineyard management, offering attendees a unique perspective on the art of winemaking.

One of the highlights of the evening was the opportunity to explore 400 years of excellence in German winemaking. Guests had the chance to taste a curated selection of fine wines, each with its own story of heritage and craftsmanship, showcasing the rich tradition of German winemaking.

The event also provided a platform for networking, allowing participants to connect with like-minded individuals from the international business community, all while enjoying delicious canapés and exquisite wines.

Overall, “Taste of Tradition” was a resounding success, offering attendees an unforgettable experience filled with sophistication, history, and delightful flavors. We look forward to hosting more events that celebrate tradition, culture, and the finer things in life at the German Centre Shanghai.
