Women’s Day

On March 5, 2025, in celebration of International Women’s Day, the Shanghai German Centre and bdp hosted the “Promoting Cross-Cultural Leadership for Female Leaders” workshop. This inspiring session brought together female professionals from various industries to explore how to overcome cultural constraints, break through invisible cross-cultural barriers, and enhance leadership skills in the international workplace.

Our colleague Lena Lan organized the event together with keynote speaker Fang Fang, Partner at bdp China and COO of bdp Mechanical. Fang Fang shared valuable insights on leadership differences in cross-cultural environments, offering real-world strategies on leveraging gender strengths and fostering effective collaboration in global business settings.

The event not only sparked thought-provoking discussions but also engaged participants in interactive sessions, reinforcing the importance of teamwork, communication, and negotiation skills. The energy and enthusiasm in the room highlighted the growing impact of female leadership in shaping a more inclusive and dynamic business world.
