About the Company:


ICUnet China is a subsidiary of ICUnet.AG, the largest German intercultural training and consulting business. Our Shanghai office is one of 16 ICUnet offices. Others include India, USA, Mexico and Austria. The company headquarters is in Passau, Germany.

ICUnet China supports clients in China and the Asia-Pacific region in the fields of intercultural facilitation, training, consulting, coaching and assessment.

About this Job:

  • Manage the preparation stage of all training programs in cooperation with Head of Training and Development, Trainers and Senior Account Manager
  • Manage all flight, transport and accommodation booking for whole team ensuring savings are maximized and optimum routes and times selected
  • Manage routine cash and bank payments (including foreign currency trading) and reimbursements, book-keeping, checking payment documents and expense reports, reporting to and settling financial details with Managing Director
  • Manage the company website ensuring the site’s relevance and accuracy, update the ‘News’ section and optimizing the website for search engines as far as possible
  • Coordinate special projects such as CEO visits in accordance with company needs as directed by Head of Training and Development, Senior Account Manager and Managing Director
  • Deliver office management duties including stationery ordering, equipment ordering for new employees, coordination with German headquarters on team visits and communication with German Centre on all office/tenancy related issues
  • Other administrative tasks as required


  • Strong mathematical skills and basic knowledge of accounting
  • Professional and general commercial business knowledge
  • Ability to work independently
  • Handling ability with Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Strong team player
  • An understanding that administrative roles are vital for the success of a business
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Openness to change
  • Good knowledge of foreign languages English (writing and speaking) and German (preferable)


Native Chinese is a requirement along with strong English or German
